Does anyone know anything about this statue. My Mom found it ready to be thrown in the bin.She would be delighted if I could come up with any information. So please drop me a line .

BARGAINS - SAMPLERS - X.STITCH

 Today I returned to my local secondhand market after being away for more than a month. I came away with these 3 items. A little french clock 6 Euro, which I have always seen in magazines and always wanted, a glass heart shaped dish 1 Euro and what seems to be a letter rack...I think 12 Euro....  

Oggi per la prima volta dopo un mese sono tornata al mio mercatino preferito. Ho trovato un l'orologio francese 6 Euro, una ciotola a forma di cuore 1Euro e una porta lettere per appendere 12 Euro.....

The clock has soon found its place...............Now where do I hang the letter rack...........

At the moment I am cross stitching this little " FLORAL GARDEN " pattern which I bought fromNIKY ,it reminds me of these samplers, which my sister gave me.....they are only prints but from a distance they look like the real thing.

Al momento sto ricamando "FLORAL GARDEN"  una schema comprato da NIKY , e stranamente mia sorella mi ha regalato queste "sampler"......sono soltanto stampe.....ma da lontano sembrano veramente ricamate.

GOODIES - ACQUISTI

Here I am back home after my visit to England.Here are a few things I bought to keep me busy crafting.My sister took me to a great shop called " THE RANGE " where they sell all sorts of crafting material and household items.

Sono tornata a casa , dopo una piccola vacanza in Gran Bretagna. Grazie a mia sorella chi mi ha accompagnata in un bellissimo negozio " THE RANGE " dove vendono di tutto per hobbisti e anche cose per la casa. Ecco un assortimento di cose comprato li.

This shop is well worth the visit .......maybe you have one near you...or check out your nearest on the internet. It's ashame we don't have one in Italy.

ENGLAND .....HERE WE COME....!

BOOKMARKS - SEGNALIBRO

I thought I would try my hand at making something completely different.......no sewing involved.
Ho provato a creare qualcosa di diverso.......senza cucire neanchè un punto.

So here we are "Bookmarks".
Ho fatto un po di segnalibri.

In a tin ,that I had forgotten all about, I found all these sweet decoupage figures, ideal for making these.
Dimenticato in una scatola, ho trovato queste figure di decoupage.ideale per questo lavoro.

With some designer paper, some rubber stamps and some ribbon....these were created.To give them the finishing touch I passed them through a home laminator.
Con un po di carta, timbri e nastro....ho creato queste. Poi per finire ho usato un plastificatrice.

My favourite has to be .......all of them.
Il mio preferito.....tutti quanti.

LITTLE SEWING BAG - BORSETTA

Finally my little sewing bag is finished.I think I started it a couple of years ago and never had the time to finish it,so a couple of weeks ago I was pondering about what my next project would be and amongst a few things still to be finished off , this was amongst them.There are other things cross stitched ready to be framed or made into bags, so I have decided to finish off all these half started things before I venture into starting others.......so I say, even though I have received new cross stitch patterns fromNiky which I really want to start . This little bag I bought in the kiddies department at Ikea and I added on all the extras myself, infact I have another which hopefully I'll get round to doing.

Finalmente ho finito questo progetto che veramente ho comminciato un paio di anni fa. La borsetta è di Ikea trovato nel reparto bimbi poi pian pianino ho aggiunto i ricami,tasche,yoyo spilla finche ero sodisfatta .Adesso mi piace di piu.Invece di comminciare altri progetti ho deciso di finire i lavori meta fatto,anche se l'altro giorno il postino mi ha portato delle scheme belle comprato da Niky che vorrei ricamare subito .

To finish with this is another little bracelet I made with some of those flowers I made a while ago.
