COUNTRY

 Country designs came to mind for my little jam jars. Nice to work on without loosing too much time stitching .I have quite a few more jars to do and its a great way to use up some of the discarded threads that have become muddled into a whopping great bundled mess.

EMBROIDERY

So simple to make and a way to use up some of the charms that I have bought in the past. I made this yesterday evening and today it has found its place on my sewing shelf. If you want to make this just click Elisa for the free pattern.   Happy sewing.

SEA SHELLS

What a lovely collection ........starfish  ....  seahorses  ....and shells. I really enjoyed making these especially the shells and I think the seahorses are quite unique with their curly tails. These were made following instructions from the Tilda book  " Sew Sunny homestyle".  Her new book which I have pre-ordered from Amazon will be arriving in early June is called " Tilda's Seaside Ideas " can't wait to see it.
 Mi piace molto questo collezioni di conchiglie. Specialmente i cavalli marini sono stupendi. Era un lavoro molto piacevole da. cucire. BUTTONS & BOWS

With all the old buttons I possess I finally used a few to adorn these beauty bags. The blue one comes from an idea from Tilda and the red one I made up as it came along. Considering it was my first attempt of putting in zips I was quite pleased with the result.

Sono abbastanza contenta con il lavoro di queste due borsette....considerando che non ho mai inserito una cerniera in vita mia. la borsetta blu e stata realizato seguendo l'idea di Tilda.

GRANDPA - NONNO

 How  wonderful is this old rabbit, making his way with his walking stick.  Oh Grandpa you are so good to us little ones...bringing such a big basket full of easter eggs......thankyou.....
Cosi meraviglioso ...questo vecchio coniglio...camminando con suo bastone.....Ma Nonno dove vai con un cestino cosi grande e pieno di ovetti...Forse a visitare i suoi  nipotine.......Grazie

IRONING BAG

I don't remember how long it has been since starting this bag....but a couple of years has at least gone by.The idea comes from a copy of De Fil En Aiguille. So today I finally finished it .
Sono passati alcune mese da quando avevo comminciato a cucire questo sacchetto per i panni da stirare e finalmente ho trovato il tempo da finirlo. 

It fits nicely into this basket...now I can get on with the ironing.
Sta benissimo in questo cestino......adesso....stiro...

A mixture of cross stitch and machine sewing to make some cute bread bags and smaller bags for dried mushrooms.....made just in time for last Sundays market.
Un po di punto croce e cucito con la macchina da cucire per queste sacchetti per il pane e funghi secchi....fatto per il mio mercatino di Domenica scorsa......
