HEARTS

These are just some of the things I have been busy making lately.My computer was out of action so it gave us all a bit of time to do other things otherwise we seem to spend all of our freetime on it.I have also joined a sewing course " Quilt & Patchwork " which I am really pleased with.It seems so simple but infact it's not. The keyword is precision . So practice is needed .I have always wanted to learn another skill properly .So I got my husband to pay for the course as a Birthday treat .
At the moment the flat is in a bit of a mess as I am having part of the hallway sectioned off so I can create my sewing corner....can't wait for it to be finished so I can get all my stuff back into place .As christmas is not too far off  I shall have to get cracking on with creating things for that .
 Queste sono gli ultimi creazioni . Il mio computer era rotto e avevo tempo di ricamare. Ho comminciato un corso ....Quilt & Patchwork Torino...sono molto contenta .Ci vuole PRECISIONE e PAZIENZA .
Volevo sempre dedicare un po di tempo per imparare qualcosa diversa da ricamo .Poi il corso me la pagato mio marito come regalo per il mio compleanno. In queste giorni l'appartamento e un po in disordine . Il muratore e qui per un paio di giorni . Sta mettendo su una parete nel entrata per creare un angolino per il mio angolo creativa .Non vedo ora che è tutto finito .Poi commincero a creare per natale.

Ecco il risultato di una Domenica passato a confezionare questa borsa.
This is the bag I made on Sunday.

Lalfabeto è stata ricamata forse 2 anni fa,anche il cuore l'avevo gia ricamato e abbandonato nel cestino aspettando l'occassione di essere finito in qualche maniera.
The alphabet and heart had both been stitched by me a couple of years ago...then left lying around waiting to be put to some use.

 E voilà.....una bella borsa pronto per usare per i miei prossimi aquisti al MANUALMENTE. La prossima settimana dal 29 Settembre per quatro giorni ci sarà l'hobbyshow  al Lingotto qui a Torino......non vedo l'ora........Chi di voi sta pensando di visitarlo? Io ci sarò con la mia amica Laura.......mi conoscerete perchè portero dietro questa borsa ...fatto per l'occassione......vedete ho anche ricamato sopra il nome del mio BLOG.    Se per caso lo vedete fatemi un salutino. Ho foderato il dietro della borsa con questa stoffa...l'adoro.
 The back of the bag was made using this attractive material....I love it.

 Did I do the right thing by giving away this cupboard of mine.I was getting fed up with looking at the same old furniture and wanting a new look.Maybe I should of given it a second chance by giving it a new lick of paint...Farrow & Ball have some great shabby colours.What would you have done? Any ideas?  I maybe still in time to get it back......
Non so se ho fatto bene....ma ero un po annoiata con questo mobili....lo dato via...magari dovevo pensare due volte prima di aver fatto......ci sono delle vernice bellissime di Farrow & Ball molto shabby con quale potevo transformarlo ....per renderlo nuovo.Secondo voi ho fatto bene di darlo via ? Forse chi sa potrei re prenderlo.
