Mmmm.........STRAWBERRIES

I have had a few problems with my camera lately and haven't been able to publish  any of my latest creations. So I shall start with showing you some lovely strawberries.

HOLLYHOCK GARDEN

 Pleased to show my finished quilted project. It was a bit time consuming , probably because I am no expert when it comes down to quilting, but it gave me the opportunity of quilting using my new sewing machine....which I must say is brilliant.

 It is only a small patchwork measuring 62 x 62 cm...... so will probably hang on a wall .

 As soon as I saw the idea I was immediately attracted to the idea of sewing one for myself.

 The idea comes from Simply Vintage .....

LOVE MY NEW MACHINE

Well finally after searching for a machine that suited all my requirements I opted for the SINGER QUANTUM...

 It comes with an extra wide table...

A fabulous selection of stitch patterns...

 At the moment I am working on a little bit of patchwork...

Soon to be finished...as I get the hang of quilting.....

BAKING BEARS

 An old favourite of mine are these little bears....the pattern is from" La Cruna del Ago" a craft magazine that I have had quite a few years. This is a basket liner for all those homemade treats.

This bear is holding homemade bluebeary muffins.....so cute....

CUPCAKE

These little cross stitch cupcakes  will last a whole lot longer than the ones I bake in the oven. Sew pretty I don't know if I prefer pink or blue icing....they both look yummy to me.......
