XMAS WALL HANGING

 Just wanted to share with you my latest sewing project. An alternative christmas tree.

 I added a layer of padding and backed it in a plain material...then added small red ribbons here and there. I chose a gold bias binding to edge it all. Finally I sewed two thin strips on the back to incase 2 thin wooden batons ,one at the top and one at the bottom.

So lovely and bright....hope my customer enjoys it for years to come...

HOLLYHOCK GARDEN

 Pleased to show my finished quilted project. It was a bit time consuming , probably because I am no expert when it comes down to quilting, but it gave me the opportunity of quilting using my new sewing machine....which I must say is brilliant.

 It is only a small patchwork measuring 62 x 62 cm...... so will probably hang on a wall .

 As soon as I saw the idea I was immediately attracted to the idea of sewing one for myself.

 The idea comes from Simply Vintage .....

LOVE MY NEW MACHINE

Well finally after searching for a machine that suited all my requirements I opted for the SINGER QUANTUM...

 It comes with an extra wide table...

A fabulous selection of stitch patterns...

 At the moment I am working on a little bit of patchwork...

Soon to be finished...as I get the hang of quilting.....
