LATEST BARGAIN

It was love at first sight....I wasn't looking for a piece of furniture...but...in a second hand market  I saw this...could be useful I thought......for books....dinner services....linen.. Seems to be very sturdy with its wooden shelves......
Now I have to decide to paint it or not. My first idea was to give it a shabby chic look using a creamy white paint but I quite like the way it looks as it is...what would you do ?

At the weekend I will have to find the right place for it ...then to fill it up.

  1. I think a creamy white chalk paint would look beautiful, but even leaving it bare would look equally lovely. What a nice piece of furniture, I can just see it filled with gorgeous fabrics!

  4. That is one beautiful piece of furniture. Simply lovely just the way it is. I would fill it up and then decide if you need to change the outside.

  5. I love it the way it is! I also like when paper is put on the back - like a backdrop for whatever you decide to fill it with. Good buy - so many uses for a piece like this! Thank you for sharing.
