This recipe was given to me some years ago by my Aunty Marie. It is one of those recipes that is easy to follow and takes no time at all to make.(I use a ready to roll pastry which can be bought in the fridge dept at the supermarket,or if you prefer and have more time you can make your own pastry).This dish can also be prepared the day before,ideal for a picnic or to take to a friends for lunch. Try it and I am sure it will become a favourite recipe, like it has for my friends,who have also passed it on to their friends.
1 roll of puff pastry
180g Emmental or cheddar cheese (grated)
4 x 80g tins of Tuna(drained 200g)
OVEN 175 C middle shelf
FLAN DISH 28 CM
1..Unroll the puff pastry and place directly with its ovenproof paper in the flan dish.
2..In a food processor (or by hand) mix eggs with the milk and cream.
3Add the tuna and mix together.
4Add the cheese and mix.
5 Pour this creamy mixture onto the prepared pastrycase.
6Cook in oven for about 55 minutes until golden.
7Leave to cool slightly before serving.
1..Srotolare la pastasfoglia ed adagiarla direttamente con la sua carta da forno nella tortiera.
2..In un robot da cucina (o a mano) mescolare le uova con il latte e la panna.
3Aggiunge il tonno e mescolare.
4Aggiunge il formaggio e mescolare.
5Versate il ripieno direttamente sulla pastsfoglia.
6Cuocete in forno per circa 55 minuti finche e ben dorato.
7Lasciate intiepidire prima di servire.
